Terry Firkins

Firkins is Milwaukee's outstanding Plein Air painter. All his paintings are done on location, and out of doors in summer, winter fall and spring; in rain, sunshine or nighttime; and include small towns, farms, wood lots, harvesting, Milwaukee's streets, summers along the Maine Coast, and his watercolors of the Milwaukee shoreline. His sensitive use of light and color evoke the simple poetry of places less traveled.
